The Opportunity
We are working with an excellent ecology practice who are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join their passionate, dynamic and friendly team in their Cirencester office.
Benefiting from working in a multidisciplinary consultancy team, you will provide sound ecological advice and support to Project Managers across a range of schemes which vary in size, types and complexities.
Being positive, proactive and solution focussed, have demonstrable experience of environmental consultancy and a willing to contribute to a supportive work environment is essential.
You will also be effective at working on your own and as part of a 30+ strong ecology team located across their three offices.

Desirable Qualifications
You will have a good working knowledge of ecology, environmental legislation and survey techniques, hold a relevant degree and have or be eligible for CIEEM membership.
A full, valid UK driving licence is essential, with access to a vehicle for business use preferred.
Ideally you will hold a bat licensed with experience in mitigation and have tree climbing skills knowledge and/or qualifications.
To be a success in this role you will need you to have all the right qualifications and experience; including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
But you’ll also need to be personable, passionate and proactive, as they are a friendly bunch who work hard.
Applicants with Biodiversity Net Gain experience or those with other Protected Species licenses are also highly sought after and encouraged to apply.
