The Opportunity
Here is a really great opportunity for a Consultant Ecologist.
This Consultant Ecologist role routinely involves conducting Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (habitat surveys), protected species surveys (typically newts, reptiles and mammals) and consultancy work including quoting, data analysis, reporting and project management.
It would be perfect for someone wanting to take the next step on the career ladder and challenge themselves in a supportive environment. The project-based nature of the work means the candidate must be willing to undertake travel and work away from home with overnight stays, however, they work hard to ensure our team members achieve a work-life balance so have caps on the numbers of nights away or antisocial hours worked.
Our clients' aim is to ensure each of their ecologists becomes well-rounded consultants, achieved by conducting regular performance reviews to ensure they meet their personal goals, recognising progression with appropriate promotions.
They work across the UK with the majority of their projects across the Home Counties, South and Midlands.
